I supervised and co-supervised students at doctoral, master's, and engineering level, in areas that align with my broader research interests in games, participatory design, human-AI interaction, and cultural heritage preservation.
Doctoral supervision*:
Witold Sosnowski (as auxiliary supervisor) research on disinformation narrative mining and detection with large language models. Our collaboration has resulted in publications at EMNLP 2024, EMNLP 2025, and ACL 2026.
Maciej Grzeszczuk (as auxiliary supervisor) research on preserving cultural heritage through Early Digital Artifacts (EDAs). We've also collaborated directly on studies of grassroots digital preservation practices across Europe, the demoscene as intangible cultural heritage, published across MIDI proceedings and Łódzkie Studia Etnograficzne, with a further chapter forthcoming in Silicon Dawn: Histories and Cultures of Creative Computing in Europe.
Katarzyna Kowalczyk (as auxiliary supervisor) researching HerStories, connecting oral histories, experience, folklore and design.
*In Poland, the habilitacja degree is required for appointment as the primary doctoral supervisor. Until then, I can formally serve only as an auxiliary supervisor.
