Human-AI Interaction Researcher @ AI Safety
I am an HCI researcher working at the intersection of computer science and the social sciences. My work focuses on ICT for Social Good, with core expertise in human–AI interaction, participatory design, and inclusive and collaborative systems. I apply this work across domains including older-adult computing, education, cultural heritage, XR, and disinformation resilience. I draw on a range of user research methods to understand how people and communities interact with technology, especially AI and collaborative systems, and how these can be designed effectively, inclusively and responsibly.
Keywords:
human–AI interaction · user research · co-design · crowdsourcing · games · accessibility · XR · disinformation · older-adult computing · education · cultural heritage
Collaborations:
I’m especially interested in collaborations on durable, evidence-based technology, grounded in user research, and designed to remain useful beyond the next wave of tools. Particular areas include participatory game design and learning through play, human–AI interaction in the workplace, and human factors in high-stakes contexts.
Methods I like working with:
semi-structured interviews · ecological validity studies · moderated and unmoderated usability studies · digital ethnography · focus groups · think-aloud protocols · longitudinal field studies · participatory design workshops · co-design with marginalised groups · participatory action research · information architecture design · workflow design · heuristic evaluation · prototype design & evaluation · survey design · comparative studies · framework development · thematic analysis
